Long Aid and Ecostyler Clear Results
So this morning I decided to try out the Long Aid Curl Activator and the Clear Ecostyler. I co-washed, as usual, with my VO5 Vanilla Mint Conditioner mixed with honey and EVOO. I then conditioned the Trader Joes Nourishing Spa Conditioner mixed with - yep, you guessed it - honey and EVOO (remember - I save my Qhemet OHHB for my weekly DT's). After rinsing my Trader Joes mixture out, I applied a little more of my VO5 mixture as a leave in. Then I applied a good amount of Long Aid Activator, I didn't want to apply globs and globs of it because I know that if I apply too much it can feel greasy. So applied just enough to ensure my hair was covered with it decently, but not heavily - if that makes sense. Then I applied my clear ecostyler over that in the same way, and in approximately the same amount.
After the two were applied I then combed through in sections (hopefully, I'll get a chance to create a tutorial of how I do my comb through - it's very easy).
And here are the results:

Ok, so the verdict is still out, because my hair is not completely dry. These were taken when my hair was about 75% dry. Once it's 100% dry, I can tell if I'm dealing with a cement or not.
So far though, the results feel pretty nice. I will report back later once my hair is completely dry. One thing I think I would prefer is hair that's a bit fluffier - not frizzy but fluffy. Once my hair is completely dry, I'll see if I can fluff it a bit.
Ciao!
