I have tried a number of times to do Teri's conditioner styler technique and finally I took the time to take a picture of it. The results came out pretty good.

I used Pantene's Relaxed and Natural conditioner and just slathered it all over my hair after I co-washed. I then combed through in sections and  let it airdry. I liked the results - or I should say I liked the look of it. It felt a bit weird going on, I mean conditioners have always been meant to wash out in my mind, so it was odd just leaving it in. There was a part of me that kept thinking, "Oh boy, I hope my hair doesn't start falling out because of this". But all went very well. As you can see, this picture and technique was obviously done before I got my hair cut*sigh*.

Anyway, you can find more information about the conditioner as styler  or CurlyPrimer technique - here: http://www.tightlycurly.com/CurlyPrimer.aspx

Ciao!

I've used the conditioner only method with Yes to Carrots and Yes to Cucumbers. Like conditioner only method for my days when I don't like doing a lot of other steps. End up cowashing and styling with the same product.

Yes - I agree. The conditioner styler is perfect for those days when you don't want to hassle with a lot of stuff. The only thing I'm starting not to like about it, is that it sort of leaves me hair dull looking - maybe I'm leaving too much conditioner in.

I've done her method as well. Is is kind of a weekend luxary for me. During the week, I just do want to leave the house with a soaking wet head. And I agree with Onyx, it does seem to leave my hair kind of dull looking.

@April - yeah - I still haven't figured out how she and others get their hair to look so "product free" looking with the conditioner left in. Maybe the cone products add more shine or something - I just don't know.:0/. I lean towards the cone free type products and there is always that dullness, which is why i haven't done it in a while. Maybe, it just takes playing with it more.
